STAND up.
Walking through the busy crowds,
the echoing voices running through the halls.
The unaudible words slipping from people's lips,
until I hear my name being mocked.
You think you know me,
still thinking you have the right to judge.
I stand on the opposite side of the line,
trying to protect what little of a life I have left.
I glance through the halls only seeing your face,
the evil glare, the stare only leaving me with agony.
I cry out in my own desperate head,
only hoping to not become what you call nothing.
Who am I kidding? The damage is done.
That's all I have become.. a nothing.
You've beat me down to just another empty girl,
waiting for my rescue that's sure to never come.
Watching the years roll on as my heart turns grey,
waiting and hoping for a new spark of life inside me.
I already knew this would last years,
until my days of freedom appeared around the corned.
The day I'd become a woman,
the day I'd stand up and fight like never before.
The day I'd turn eighteen..
